Mt Kailash is about (6741 m) high, situated in the western land of the Tibet covering by silvery snow that allures a number of devotees every year. It is also known as the black mountain which contains four sheer walls and also for the whole year it’s top place covered with snow. In Tibetan it is called “Gangkar Ti-se”. This tour is refer to “Kora” which means to round and it starts from Darchen about 30 Km far from lake Manasarovar that located at the altitude of 4,560m. Usually, this holy mountain covered 53 km which takes about 3 days to complete the Kora. After the wonderful Kora we forward our steps towards the Lhasa for the extended tour . This route contains spectacular views of world's highest mountains (Mt. Everest), nomad sheep herders and the unique beauty of Tibetan desert which give more satisfaction for tourists. There we can visit the previous and old resident (Norbulingka Palace)of the World famous Buddhisn leader H.H The Fourteen Dalai Lama. We can visit the various Monastries like :- Drepung Monastery, Tashilhunpo Monastery , Sera Monastery , Potala Palace , Jokhang Temple etc. Here we can get the best chance to explore the Buddhist Religion and traditions. After all our visit we will return back to Kathmandu.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu , transfer to hotel.
Our guide will receive you in Kathmandu airport, transfer you to hotel  and help with check in formalities. Rest or explore the interesting streets of Kathmadu on your own. O/n in a hotel.

Day 02 Guided tour in Kathmandu
While we will apply an collect your  Chinese visa, you will go for a guided tour of Kathmandu  including Kathmandu Durbar square, Swoyambhunath stupa and Bouddhanath stupa. Evening briefing about Mt Kailash trip . O/n in a hotel.

Day 03 Drive  Kathmandu 1350 m  to Zangmu/  Nyalam (150km), 3300m
First day of your Kailash adventure  ! We drive from Kathmandu to Nepal Tibet boarder along a scenic  highway.  After immigration formalities at the boarder , you meet our Tibetan guide driver . After  some briefing we drive to Nyalam  3300m . Rest or explore around . O/n in a hotel.

Day 04 Rest Day at Nyalam, 3300m
As you gain considerable height from 1350 m in Kathmandu to 3300 m in Nyalam, it is very important we rest and acclimatize in Nyalam before further driving .
Free afternoon look around. O/n in hotel.

Day 05 Drive Nyalam to Saga/4450m- 232 km 
First day with a long drive on the desert terrain . Driving past nomad camps and sheep and yak herds  we cross the  high Labung La pass  at  5050m. We can see Gaurishankar, Shishapangma and  Langtang Himal from the pass. Continue drive through Khunmen Tso, Sinling, Karru Ongchen and Peiku tso Lake (4400m). We will be crossing river Brahmaputra ( “Yarling Tsangpo” in Tibetan ) to reach Saga (4600m). O/n in guest house .

Day 06 Saga to Paryang (4600m) 230 km 7-8 hrs
Watching the mountains in distance and driving through dusty road we pass through the small town of Zhongba before reaching  to Paryang. At paryang you will feel the excitement of reaching Manasarovar the next day .  o/n in a  guesthouse .

Day 07 Drive Paryang to Manasarover (4558m) 277km 8 hours
It is a long but an exciting day , offering the first view of mt kailash and the holy lake only after several hours of drive . As you approach  this serene and sacred  lake, historic Chiu Monastery becomes visible on the North West shore of the lake. From this vantage point, you can have a  glimpse of  majestic Mount Kailash.  Manasarovar , the highest  fresh water  lake with turquoise complexion - surrounded by  mt Kailash, Mt.Gurula-Mandala and  Lake Rakchyas is simply heavenly .

Day 08 Drive  to Darchen (14975ft) 30km
After some peaceful hours at the shores of the sacred Lake Manasarovar with the snowy massif of Gurla Mandhata 7694m just across the lake, we drive 30 km to Darchen which serves as the base for Mt kailash kora ( circumambulation).  The Kora is 53 km in total and completed in three days .

Day 09 Trek to Dira-Puk/5000m
It is one of the exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs and 
water falls  with some clouds in the clear blue sky.  The  15 km  trail  takes almost 7 hrs.
O/n in tented camp.

Day 10 Trek Dira Puk-Zuthul Puk, 18km, 6-7 hrs, 550m ascent, 600m descent.
Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage trek , cross Dolma La pass at 5670 m . 
Once you reach the top,just do the holiest offering and sit down for meditation to forget yourself.
By the late afternoon you will arrive at Zuthul Puk  where the  great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles .

Day 11 End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovar
Complete the kora and drive to lake Manasarovar . Explore around or rest .
O/n in camp.

Day12 Drive to Paryang (277km) 7-8 hr

Day13 Drive Paryang to Saga (230km) 7-8 hrs

Day14 Drive to Nyalam or Zhangmu: (245km) 6-7 hr.

Day15  Zhangmu to Kathmandu  150 km 
Driving further to Nepal Tibet boarder , complete the immigration formalities , get your Nepal visa .  Say good bye to your Tibetan guide and driver . You will be received by our guide from Kathmandu and drive to Kathmandu . O/n in a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 16 Fly back home / onward destination
