Saribung Expedition - 27 Day(s)

Mt. Saribung is the mountain having (6,346m) height and lies in a remote part of the Mustang district near to the Tibetan border. The trek begins with 23 minute flight from Pokhara to Jomsom which is Headquarters of Mustang District. Then we should follow the trail to upper Mustang by targeting to reach the base camp of Mt.Saribung. Technically, this peak is not very difficult to climb but physical fitness of climbers is important, as there are some high ice passes. On returning from the summit of Mt. Saribung you will continue trekking to Nar Phu, make your way to Besisahar and finally come back to Kathmandu. It is challenging and very popular trekking trail with beaten track and difficult pass.

Day 01: Arival in Kathmandu International airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Permit preparation for expedition and short briefing.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara.

Day 04: Fly to Jomsom and start the expedition with trek to Kagbeni.

Day 05-09: Trek to Lomanthang in Uppper mustang exploration.

Day 10-14: Trek to Saribung base camp exploring the caves and Gompas.

Day 15-18: Saribung peak climbing period.

Day 19-24: Trek to Bulbule though the Nar Phu valley.

Day 25: Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 26: Free rest day in Kathmandu.

Day 27: Expedition ends /airport transfer.
