This trek is having wonderful introduction to the mountains of Nepal. Mardi Himal trekking trail is a beautiful trekking trail offering you the unexplored areas of Annapurna region. This trail offers you a beautiful home stays, beautiful culture and obviously beautiful natural scenery. It is a stunningly beautiful trek, taking you up through ancient rhododendron forests, Majestic view (6940m), Thapa Peak (6015m), Tukche peak (6920m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Mardi Himal (5588m), Singu Chuli (6500m), Tharpu Chuli (5663m), Gangapurna (7483m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and many more can be seen in this trek.
It is situated just east of the Annapurna Base Camp trek, the Mardi Himal trek is a hidden gem, as few trekkers make their way to Mardi Himal’s Base Camp, spectacularly situated at the base of Mardi Himal and the beautiful and imposing Machapuchhre or Fishtail. The trail winds along small paths through ancient rhododendron forests, until you climb out at around 3,300m.
Day 01: Drive to Pokhara (800m)
Day 02: Drive to Phedi and trek to Pothana (1925m, about 4 hours trek)
Day 03: Trek to Forest Camp at Kokar (2,600m)- 4 hours walking.
Day 04: Trek to Low Camp (3,150m)- 5 hours trekking.
Day 05: Trek to High Camp (3,700m)- 4 hours trekking.
Day 06: Excursion to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m)- 4 hours Trekking.
Day 07: Trek to Siding village (1,750m) -6 hours walking.
Day 08: Trek to Lumre and drive to Pokhara- 3 hours walking and 2 hours driving.
Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu.
Cost Includs:
- Annapurna Conservation Arrea Project Permit and TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card.
- All the meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with Lodge accommodation during the trek.
